In the Spring of 2005 the 92nd St. Y threw their annual gala. They chose to celebrate one of their most celebrated members; Cy Coleman. The show was titled “It started with a dream” The star- studded cast included Chita Rivera, Robert Goulet, Tom Wopat, Lucy Arnaz, and Lillias White. As well as special Guest Neil Simon. HGLD was given the task of creating moods and scenes reminiscent of 16 of Cy Coleman’s shows. We only had two days in the venue to create this event. We incorporated custom templates to highlight the show titles and were able to brush the beautiful set with texture and color.
