HGLD was commissioned to design and install the lighting for the opening of the Cradle Of Aviation Museum on Long Island.  The museum explores the history of aviation on Long Island and across the United States. Grumman and other space agencies are heavily featured. One of the few original Lunar Excursion Modules has been reconstructed by NASA’s original contractors. It is displayed in a scenic moonscape that we lit with a single source – a plasma microwave-based illuminator – to simulate the light of the sun.
